Solo la Lega Nord ha trovato la forza di non piegarsi ai diktat dei potentati che hanno imposto Mario Monti premier in Italia. E’ triste rilevare come, nonostante la crisi dell’area euro sia fenomeno ampiamente diffuso, soltanto la Grecia e l’Italia, vale a dire i Paesi che esprimono le peggiori e più influenzabili classi dirigenti, siano state commissariate di fatto attraverso l’imposizione di due tecnocrati legati alle banche come Papademos e, appunto, lo stesso Monti. In Francia nonostante le difficoltà, tanto per far un esempio, a nessuno è venuto in mente di far traslocare l’incolore Sarkozy per fare posto a Trichet o a uno come lui. Per non parlare di Paesi con una solidissima tradizione democratica come l’Inghilterra. Solo in un Paese sgangherato come il nostro, e in pochi altri, può capitare di vedere sospesa la democrazia con la complicità di pennivendoli prezzolati, provinciali e spesso in mala fede. Ma tant’è. Dicevamo della Lega. Da meridionale dovrei forse esercitarmi nell’elencare una serie di luoghi comuni che accompagnano il movimento di Bossi. E invece non lo farò. Non credo che la Lega di oggi sia infatti un movimento razzista e tanto meno xenofobo. Qualche mese fa ho incontrato per caso a Cosenza, durante un pubblico dibattito in occasione della presentazione di un libro sul federalismo, un senatore leghista di nome Fabio Rizzi. La conoscenza di Rizzi ha fortificato alcuni miei preliminari convincimenti. Credo che la Lega abbia una vera e riconosciuta identità politica. Ritengo che le classi dirigenti leghiste siano generalmente meno improvvisate e più giovani delle altre. Sono sicuro infine del fatto che la Lega sia probabilmente l’unica forza politica di spessore capace di conservare un legame forte con i territori che rappresenta. Ingredienti questi che, nel momento cruciale, mentre gli altri partiti si inginocchiano e sbaraccano, hanno consentito alla Lega Nord di conservare un profilo di lodevole dignità e coraggiosa autonomia. Sia chiaro che delle ragioni costitutive del movimento leghista non condivido nulla a partire dalla stupidaggine della Padania con annessa richiesta di secessione. Ma questo non mi impedisce di riconoscere e vedere i pregi anche di chi è distante dalle mie logiche e prospettive. Sono certo infine del fatto che l’opposizione farà bene ai fazzoletti verdi che ultimamente, adagiatisi sulle comode poltrone ministeriali, avevano assorbito troppi vizi di provenienza pidiellina: dal nepotismo in favore del “Trota” alle spericolate operazioni finanziarie degli anni di Fazio, Fiorani e la Credieuronord. Da domani si apre una pagina nuova che vedrà di nuovo la Lega contro tutti. Interessante remake di un film già visto a metà degli anni novanta. Magari stavolta, però, l’approdo finale risulterà decisamente diverso.
